Module 5: Final Review

we are utilizing all vocabulary from Module 1 to Module 4, and make your own morpheme map.

Objectives

Students will be able to:

  • identify word roots through affixes, prefixes, suffixes.

  • differentiate and categorize the word relationship such as synonyms, antonyms, and homographs.

  • predict a meaning of the unknown words using learned morphemes.

 

Activities

  • Listen to a short (1 min 30 sec) news video.

  • Dictate keywords as much as possible.

  • Expand vocabulary to its synonyms and antonyms in the morpheme map.

  • Translate sentences in English

  • Make a best guess to find a definition of unknown words
